The Richmond Hill Country Club ( RHCC ) Day Camp is located on acres of lush greenery which offers the perfect setting for a camp. As well as the beautiful natural environment that the area has to offer, the RHCC Day Camp also includes fabulous facilities such as an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, three indoor play rooms, two outdoor playgrounds and an outdoor basketball court.

With a fun mix of sports and activities, the Richmond Hill Day Camp offers campers a great summer experience. Campers are divided by age and placed in groups of 10-12 children and are supervised by a senior and junior counsellor at all times, ensuring a safe and fun environment for kids to learn and play.
Camp activities include: Arts & Crafts, Jewelry and Beading, Creative Movement, Animals & Reptiles, Climbing Wall, Basketball, Archery, Instructional and Recreational Swimming, Drama, Music, Nature, Cooking, Games, Sports and more!

Our Tier 1 division is dedicated to the beginner or novice junior golfer aged 7 to 13. The program consists of a half day of golf at the Richmond Hill Golf Club, and a half day of other fun sports activities including swimming, baseball, basketball, tennis and more. All of our instructors are CPGA Professionals and are dedicated to the growth and development of junior golf. Camp counselors are also on hand to assist our staff each day. All golf instruction is performed at a 6:1 student to teacher ratio, with groups created based on similar skill level and age.
Our facilities consist of a championship 18 hole golf course, 21 station driving range, large putting green, bunker and chipping area, and a 1500 square foot indoor facility. The indoor Golf Learning Centre is used to greet students upon arrival and departure, as well as on rainy days. The golf portion of each day typically runs from 9:15am to 12:00pm, with lunch and various other activities scheduled in the afternoon.
Our Tier 2 division is designed for junior golfers with some golf experience looking to advance their skills to the next level. Tier 2 camp is perfect for junior golfers that have participated in our Tier 1 camp in the past. It is recommended that all Tier 2 level students participate in a minimum 2 week program to allow instructors to fully assess, improve and develop their abilities. This is a full day golf program (8:30am to 3:30pm), with students getting on the course for 9 holes of play every day.
Each day starts with a 30 minute warm up on the driving range with an instructor. From there, kids head out on the course with an instructor for 9 holes of golf. While on the course, the instructor will evaluate their strengths and weaknesses and prescribe a practice session for after the round. After lunch, the remainder of the afternoon is dedicated to improving specific areas of performance. Junior evaluation may be required.
The classes feature small student to instructor ratios, providing your child with the maximum opportunity to accelerate the improvement of their skills. The day is split into majors and minors – the major being tennis with the minors being basketball, archery and recreational swimming.
Youngsters will be divided into “beginner” and “advanced” groups, based on their tennis experience.
The Sports Program is designed for boys and girls 7 to 13 years old and focuses on participation, enjoyment and skill learning. Campers enjoy a variety of sports such as golf, baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer and tetherball to mention a few. Campers are divided up into groups honouring franchises from the City of Toronto and participate in three of the four specialities each day, plus take part in an instructional swim.
This complete camp training program is set up for teens of 13 and 14 years old and will include courses in growth and behaviour of different age groups. The teens will learn age appropriate games, crafts, special events for all ages, including gaining experience while in their cabin placements. A qualified head instructor will work and supervise the training program for this summer experience.
